The team at DHL have over 60 years’ experience in the design and construction of swimming pools. This could be a residential pool, a hydrotherapy pool or something much more specific such as an equine rehabilitation or canine therapy pool.
We work closely with Architects and Interior Designers to ensure that the client’s specific requirements are delivered to a high standard.
Previously one of our indoor pools within a private dwelling in Derbyshire won ‘SPATA Pool of the Year’. Numerous awards have followed.
ACCREDITATIONS & PROFESSIONAL STATUS
Steve Hallam (Director) is the SPATA Regional Chairman for the Northern Region. If you‘re considering a new pool or refurbishment of an existing pool or any other wet leisure facility then Steve would be happy to talk to you.
We also sit on the PWTAG Advisory Group (PWTAG) which comprises a select group of specialists from the pool industry who meet regularly to inform and develop technical standards.
In addition to the above we have full CHAS accreditation which is a requisite for working on larger commercial sites.
HYDROTHERAPY POOLS
Hydrotherapy pools are largely defined by their warm water temperature and their use for physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation. The warm water (typically 34 – 35°c) promotes blood circulation, reduces muscle spasms and eases pain.
The design and specification for a hydrotherapy pool is exceptionally important to ensure the pool can be used correctly and safely. David Hallam Limited have significant experience in both the design and construction of hydrotherapy pools in both domestic applications and commercial environments such as hospitals.
If you are considering a hydrotherapy pool then it’s important that you talk to a member of our experienced team who will advise on the specific requirements in terms of not only the pool but more importantly the bespoke plant installation.
POOL MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS
Once your pool project is complete we would like to help with the ongoing maintenance. Currently David Hallam (Maintenance) Limited have over 200 Premier Maintenance customers across the UK.
This would usually comprise a weekly, fortnightly or 4-weekly visit but this depends on how involved the customer would like to be. Typically our engineers will clean the pool, check and balance the water chemistry and undertake routine maintenance of the pool plant installation.
We also provide a reactive maintenance (repairs) service and have a nationwide customer base comprised of over 1000 customers.
